Here's an informal poll -- No names necessary, just a way to get an idea of how many would attend a Wyanoke reunion some time this summer. Last year's was the first weekend in August, but that's not cast in stone. We'd need someone to host it or suggest a venue, inasmuch as Windy Top isn't available this year.

So, please leave your response. Then we'll see what happens next.

All,
I spoke to Tom Ward two nights ago and found out about this web site - living in Maine, we have been back to Wolfeboro and Wyanoke a few times: once for my step-daughter's first triathalon (the hill looks just as big today as it did 40 years ago) and a few years ago with my brother Joe and Jeff Fincun - the boys from Cleveland.

I have a lot of fond memories of Wyanoke and old pictures, track ribbons, and even a Wyanoke banner. I look forward to sharing with my firends from 1961 - 1970 and meet new ones.

Mike - thanks for doing this and I'll be buying a DVD soon.

Hi Pete! Great to hear from you.

Tom Ward is only a few hours from me (well, five or so), and I've been really awful with communication with him. It's like procrastinating on sending a thank-you note for so long that when you do, it's really obvious that it's so late that it seems really insincere, even though it's not. This gets me motivated to get off dead center. Tom, I'll be in touch soon., and thanks for passing the word on about the site.

Say Peter, was Gregg Wood a relation of yours? He was my councilor for a summer, or part thereof, and I remember really having a great time with him.

You'll enjoy the DVD. You're in it quite a bit, as I recall. Where did the "bois" name come from? I don't remember that.

bois... c'est le mot de Francais que veux dire "wood". (Just be grateful he went with a French moniker and not something obscene. Wink)

Bienvenue, Pierre!

Saaaay I don't savvy that lingo!

Sacred Blue! But of course! As in the musical instrument "Haut Bois", or "Oh Boy", from the Latin "Oboe".

Danke schoen.
