I have started to upload some scanned images of items my brother and I found this weekend while cleaning out my parent's house. I will continue to add items.

I've uploaded 1 Farewell Banquet log. I have two more and a Xmas log that I will upload when I get time. _________________ J-1 1970, Marc Liddle from Scotland

I really enjoyed your photos, Tom. Even though my last year at Wyanoke was 1964 I spent 3 years in Cabintown (1962-1964) as a JC and a councilor so your Cabintown pics certainly hit home. Haven't had a chance to view your "logs" yet but they look great.

That is some great stuff Tom. I hope you can dig up some more. The fact that Wyanoke closed after the '75 season makes your photos and logs particularly interesting -- and rare, in my opinion. I'd be willing to bet htat a lot of that stuff just disappeared after '76 or so. Thanks for all yopur work in posting them. _________________ '56-C-9 C. Mosher '57-C-9 Bill Feaster

My thanks also to Tom for posting those images and for letting me know about the Wyanoke site and the reunion. When we were going through the old belongings and I saw some of those pictures, a whole flood of memories came back. Scanning the site the last few days and reconnecting with my counselor, Mal O'Hara, just the other day has brought back even more. Even though I was only 8-10 years old I can fondly remember a lot. Hopefully I can also manage to get back in touch with some compatriots of mine - the last generation of Cabintown residents. _________________ A Cabintown resident from 1973-1975. |
