It is with deep sadness that I report the death of Kenneth "Kenny" Martinsen on December 31, 2016.
"Kenny" spent many summers at Wyanoke, beginning as a Midget and ending up as a Junior Councilor.
He is survived by family, including his brother Glenn (also a Wyanoke man).
When he wasn't at Wyanoke, "Kenny" spent a lot of time directly across the harbor with family.
On behalf of Camp Wyanoke, my wife and I extend deepest sympathies and condolences to his family. _________________ C-1 49 J-7 52 S-3 55 J-10 58

I remember him, and if I'm not mistaken he was the nephew of E. Roger Muir who produced Howdy Doody which you younger folks won't remember. Wait, there are no younger folks of Wyanoke vintage. _________________ Living with wife Vicki happily retired after we moved back to Cornwall, Pa. |

Pat, you are correct. E. Roger Muir was our uncle. He was co-creator and Executive Producer of Howdy Doody and later created The Newlywed Game.
I still live in Wolfeboro and winter in AZ. NO MORE SNOW !
