I don't receive the Granite State News.
Irving Vaughn's lengthy account of the 1938 hurricane in Wolfeboro is to appear in the next few issues. I remember some of this being read at campfires - should be interesting. 'Mentions the Johnson's Cove sawmill as I recall.
(I thought it always looked like that! )

The entire account is posted in the gallery, and thanks for reminding me - Dave Bentley sent me a clean copy of it a couple of months ago and I'd planned to post it, got busy, then completely forgot. Sorry Dave. I'll look into that.
